CLASS DESCRIPTION 

Learn how to fix, enhance and get creative with your photos. Photoshop Elements, the world's most popular, affordable, powerful photo editing program, is a great way to organize and create photos that will amaze you, your clients, family and friends. You get hands-on practice working with basic through advanced techniques to get the most out of your experience. You will learn layer basics, photo retouching and image editing. Many of the program's tools and features, along with photo retouching techniques will be discussed.

Topics include:

Layers, File formats, program screen layout toolbox and tool options, palettes, selection tools, crop, layer properties, transforming, quick fixes and using the Organizer to tag photos

CLASS OBJECTIVES

• To present the class material in a fun and non-intimidating way.
• To help each class participant feel comfortable in working with
  Adobe Photoshop Elements

COURSE OUTLINE

The classes will be a combination of lecture/demonstration and "hands on" student work. Each class will be project based, i.e. by the end of each class the student will have created a "real world project. Class 1 will create a slideshow, Class 2 will retouch a photo like a pro, etc.
